Using design to drive improvements in healthcare

This year’s London Design Festival is well underway and the Uscreates team is very excited to be a part of the programme this year with our upcoming Inside Design workshop on Wednesday 7th October.

Design has the power to address some of the world’s biggest challenges, including health and wellbeing, and to unlock huge value for businesses. According to a Design Council report, every £1 invested in design yields £29 business returns, and £5.67 in public sector returns.

Here at Uscreates we wholeheartedly believe in the value of design as an approach to problem-solving and use it as a powerful tool to address challenges across the healthcare sector. Using our design approach and methodology we have been able to help our clients deliver great patient experiences, cost-efficiencies and social impact. And we want to keep doing this for more organisations!

The Inside Design workshop will help healthcare organisations consider and identify how they can use design to tackle their key challenges around:

  • Innovating new digital services
  • Improving patient experience
  • Achieving efficiency savings

The Impact Hub Westminster will provide the creative backdrop for our workshop. We have previously held some great workshops here which have produced some truly innovative outputs leading to improved healthcare services.

So we really are looking forward to seeing what we can develop when we put our heads together with our fantastic workshop participants from across the public, private and third sector organisations working in the health and wellbeing space.

Inside Design is a chance for participants to learn about and apply design processes and methods on their own organisational challenges. They will leave the workshop with tools and actions to address burning challenges.

This event is now fully booked but if you are interested in attending our next event please get in touch with hannah@uscreates.com to register your interest.
